Guess things are looking aardvark 'round here, oh well.....
Actually had a nice class today at uni, talking about genderroles in Dracula. Otherwise it's still dark and cold, and my knee is still too f*cked for me to run in this very lovely weather.
There's not much else to say, so why not reveal where the name/title Kinkymachine comes from. in the mid 90's, post britpop, the band Rialto released an excellent album, got dropped from their label, released that great album again, and where dropped once more... the funny thing is that it actually managed to sell over 500.000 copies and generate 2 Top 30 singles. Oh well, they hustled along, released an EP, and a violently mediocre album... and so far that's it! Oh well, the point I was trying to make was, that before Rialto (gotta love that hair!) changed their name to Rialto, they were called Kinkymachine....
As a service I can tell that Louis Eliot, the leadsinger with the brilliant quiff, is working on a solo album right now, and has already released an EP, nicely titled "Everybody Loves You When You're Dead", and can be tjecked out here, he's got a beard now.....
