That first Blur album's pretty good ain't it? As a whole I think Oasis got outa the whole britpop-war with most dignity intact, but as a whole the Blur albums are just so much better....

I just drank the majority of a really good Prozuelo Crianza from 99.... I don't know what that mean really.... it's nice red wine and since "Arsenal roar on", and won 0-2, it'll probably be a pretty pleasant evening.... I really ought to drink some more red wine.... and that Thierry Henry goal, where he just caught Brad Friedel goal f*cking up... I mean kicking out, was just brilliant.... it's a crying shame it didn't count....

Nothing has happened all week, nothing what so ever. I've been getting up pretty early every day and then spend my days reading, studying and surfing the net.... I think I should get some more outa the the upcoming week. Maybe apply for some work since I've just discovered that last weeks London trip was a little bit harder on my Visa than expected!

I'm working tomorrow so it's a normal, going to bed early Friday, right after Smack the Pony! There's also football tomorrow, as the Gunners take on Blackburn. The Blackies created my worst football experience last season as they beat us 2-0, while I was sitting in the shitty pseudo Irish pub in Assens, in my 'Parlour 15' (shame on me for writing 14 in the first place....) shirt, all by myself... not counting the local drunks! The only positive thing was that the bartender, who was actually British, also supported Arsenal, eventhough it was only outa hate to United... otherwise he supported Sheffield Wednesday.... go figure! And despite the fact that Roy beat me to the 'Edu 17' jersey I'm still glad to see our favorite Brazilian sharing the Player of the Month award with Dennis "Ice Ice Baby" Bergkamp! Grrrreat stuff.

The Franz Ferdinand cd hasn't left the stereo since I bought. It's just so very good....

Apparently Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are playing Rock 'n Royal, alongside heavyweight rockmonsters like Anders Blichfeldt and Sanne Salomonsen.... Jebus Christ! Hopefully Manic Street Preachers will show up as well, and start their set with "Repeat after me fuck Queen and Country". They could also include early songe like "We her Majesty's Prisoners" and the 2 McCarthy covers "We are all Bourgeois Now" and "Charles Windsor". Maybe rebellion is dead after all!

It's been a while, also since we got home from London. It was a very nice trip, albeit missing our plane and having to wait 11 hours in the airport f*cked things up a bit. Nuff said.

Decided to link to another blog I've stumbled over. What the Hell is Wrong With You People? is quite fun, but a bit heavy on the absolute no-no's of progrock references! The unlikely movie sequels on March 2 sort of sold the whole deal. Dunno how to make a direct link for that.... oh well....
